Working on the following competitive tournament list:

Renegade 'the purge formation':

HQ: renegade command squad + command net vox + ordnance tyrant upgrade
TROOPS: Renegade infantry veterans + deep strike upgrade

I know that wyverns and heavy quad launcher are better with 4 small blasts, but I don't like to play with them because it takes to long.

questions:

* Should I put some guns on the knights?
* Should I add some anti-flyer shooting? Considering 'Rapier laser destroyers'. I don't like chaos daemons FMC but I don't think I could do a lot about them anyway.

Instead of just griffons why not take some wyverns? The ignores cover is pretty sweet.

I do see the appeal but I simply don't like the multibel small blasts with reroll to hit and wound. It just takes to damn long. A lot of armies don't like to face that amount of cheap artillery units and taking up that amount of time makes it a little bit to much.

I can take down most enemy units without anti cover blasts. Maybe ravenwing bikes with reroll cover saves could benefit from 'me not fielding wyverns'.

I'am considering to give my renegade knights each an avenger gatling cannon. With these I could also shoot at the FMC and make them drop out of the sky at some point.
