So you might remember a few weeks back the internet broke into 1/64th over this image:



With some believing it was proof that GW plans to either embiggen the entire Marine range (as they did when they went from RT to 2nd edition, and again when they went from 2nd to 3rd) while others more reasonably suggested it was a plan to introduce a new marine unit, some sort of supermarines created by Guilliman and wasshisman slug boy tech priest.

Most however figured it was a hoax.

Well I figured today was the right day to come clean on this, it's a conversion, it's my conversion. In the original thread most people were able to spot the parts used, centurion head, converted pistol/bolter mash up etc.

I thought that by shrinking the image and then blowing it back up it might obscure the details like green stuff or the plastic being in different shades but people spotted those key things right away.

I originally put it out on Facebook to get some feedback but someone leaked it and well things went from there.

So I just want to apologize to anyone who was fooled.

Nice conversion, better than what I can achieve! For me, it was the feet that gave it away. The grey is too light on the picture against most of the rest so I was dead certain at the time it wasn't a single moulding. Gave us a good laugh as you fooled many people
