Question.

I have been enjoying my Beastclaws. Lots of fun. I feel that I am missing out on the magic phase of the game. While I was checking out the GW site, I came across The Butcher model. I like the rule set and would like to add him in to give me that extra boost I need.

What are peoples experiences using him and how well does he fit in?

Thanks in advance.

Butchers. Are. Scary. I've played against them and witnessed them kill monsters in one turn of magic. Their spell can be the scariest thing ever you roll well enough. Plus if you take the cauldron they make a decent force multiplier as well. The one thing to be keep in mind though is that not being of the Beastclaw faction, you will not get the beastclaw allegiance bonuses and will need generic Destruction battleline units if you wish to use him in matched play.

I was hoping that I would be able to use him in my Beastclaw army.

Is there anyway that I can? Would it matter if I used a formation and then added the Butcher?

Thanks again.

No. Any warscroll in the army without the 'Beastclaw Raiders' keyword would cost you the 'Beastclaw Raiders' allegiance, meaning you could no longer use Stonehorns, Thundertusks, Mournfangs, Yhetees or Frost Sabres as Battleline.
