Trying to decide between mega armor, or normal mobs, I'll be playing 15 00pts kill points, and can't pick between 5 MANZ + truck or 10 reg Nobz + pk and BP

If it stomps or makes a loada noise, giv it more dakka

You'll find much better value out of the MANZ

Meganobz of course, and if you want 5 of them a battlewagon is more appropriate that a trukk. But you may field two units of three meganobz in trukks for the same points, which is certainly more effective.

The problem with the truck is you are likely rolling on the mob rule chart before you get out of turn one. Not saying looted wagons are great, but you can run decked out comparably priced to pricey stock battlewagons. Only problem is they take heavy slots....

I still prefer multiple manz units in trucks. Battelwagons wont live too long against really shooty opponents like tau or the variety of space elves. I have had great luck with providing maximum threat overload. Not to mention there will be other things you include that will also draw attention. More units to shoot at = better chances of survival. Otherwise they could focus fire your big bad single unit. If you have the models the bully boys formation is fearless and causes fear. So no worry of poor morale. Grukk face Rippa also has a 12" morale bubble so using him would be good if on a budget.

My army will consist of...

Warboss Mega armor, lucky stick, tl skorcha

15 lootas (with warboss attached walking bullet wall

14 lootas + mek

11 boys +nob pk/BP +trukk
11 boys +nob pk/BP + trukk
11 boys +nob pk/BP +Trukk

10 nobs 1 with pk/BP or
5 manz +trukk

6 killakans with grotzooker or rockets (depending on nids or guard) or
Morkanaught + kff

Plan is rush the boys in the trukks to tie things up, walk some lootas up spewing dakka, walk the kans or mork up the middle causing a visible threat, hold the 2nd group of lootas back for anti air/deep strike or stuff being sneaky, and ram the nobs into something as fast as I can,

The nids I'll be playing he likes to fly and spawn things, the guard hides behind he'll hounds and basal isms, and lastly...nekron. ..he likes to hide behind his gauze guns and then spam things out his monolith :(

If it stomps or makes a loada noise, giv it more dakka

Not a bad list. Are these the only models you have available? I like bikes and deffkoptas because they're fast, can jink, are tough 5, and have twinlinked shooting which is key for orks. That being said I like this list modification based on what you have there.

Warboss Mega armor, lucky stick, tl skorcha ( with a manz unit)
Painboy
3x manz pair saws, kombi skorcha, no, trukk
3x manz pair saws, kombi skorcha, bp, trukk

14 lootas + mek

11 boys +nob pk/BP +trukk
11 boys +nob pk/BP + trukk

Gorkanaut

5x killa kans with rokkits

I'd use the killa kanz to screen the Gorkanaut and what ever else you chose depending on the opponent. I like the Gorkanaut ld chances in shooting but you'll have to rely on hot dice at times. Lootas focus fire on flying monstrous creatures along with the rokkits from the kanz. Trukks fly forward depending on situation. Suicide manz missiles need to make combat or draw lots of fire to be useful. The warboss with mega armor and the stick can tank some wounds for sure. Personally I don't take walkers for anything other than the cool factor. Ork shooting sucks unless twin linked and I2 walkers get worked by anything other then light infantry and vehicles. At least they will strike before power fists. I'd take most dakka and fast units if you were able. I just built this based on what you have listed.

The list I wrote is everything I own for the moment, I need to get the mork/gork and manz still they are on my "to get list" but I've only been collecting since December so I am still lacking in numbers but slowly getting there
