So I went to spray my Contemptor Dreadnought and Quad Mortar Batteries with the Army Painter Colour Primer Gunmetal Silver paint. For whatever reason, the paint just pooled and built up, not forming a flat coat (I had literally just used it on some Grey Knights to great effect). So now the models are full of big splotches of paint.

I want to strip the paint off and start over. Is there anything that I can use to do that without ruining the resin?

I use LA's Totally Awesome concentrated cleaner/degreaser available in the dollar store. Has never hurt any resins I've stripped. (The yellow ones)

And I'd suggest another round of warm water and dawn dish detergent scrubbing w a soft tothbrush to get rid of the mold release (likely the cause of the pooling).

I will have to check that out. In hindsight, I am having trouble recalling if I gave these models a bath. Thanks for the tipa

Couldn't find that particular product. I am going to give Pine Sol a shot with a test model. I have also heard Simple Green works without damaging resin, so I might use that as a backup.
