I'm told to refer to the 40K rulebook for combi weapons and Grav is clearly listed in there.

Any reason why I wouldn't be able to do this?

hey what time is it?

land of 10k taxes

40K Grav weapons DO NOT exist in 30k. Yes there are some 'grav' type weapons, but different from 40k ones. SO = NO.
Help that helps.

It doesn't really, can you shoot me a page # of a book that references this?

The HH books were made after 7th came out so I assume the entire combi-weapons page applies.

I'm not saying you're wrong. Would just need a rules reference.

The only 40k grav weapons that exist in 30k are Graviton Imploders

And they only exist in Mechanicum
Abd even then only like, 2 models can take them

And the graviton guns that Breachers and Dreadnoughts can take.

And the graviton cannons that can be mounted on Rapiers.

And the grav-flux bombard on the Leviathan.

But all of these function differently than 40k grav (thank the Emperor) and cannot be taken in a combi-weapon for reasons previously stated (see FW faq). 40k grav has no place in 30k. It trivializes flare shields, armored ceramite, infantry killing in general (possibly more then phosphex but doubtful), primarchs, and every flavor of walker.

EDIT - I was unaware of what Imploders are. Carry on, nothing to see here!

They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines, and they shall know no fear.

Hence why he pointed out;

Graviton Imploders exist in 40k? On what model?

Clearly he means the stats of the weapon. And how they are essentially the same as 40k Grav.

Yup, thankfully (ugh) there's only 1 or 2 sources of 40k grav, and they are ONLY in the mechanicum list.

there's lots of 30k graviton in marine lists though.

And like they all pointed out: no combi-Grav, but a special list of combi-weapons as pointed out above.

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

I was unaware they mirrored grav. My mistake! No mechanicum players at my FLGS, only the occasional Praevian-lead Castellax.
