Hi all. I'm new to Tau, and love their fluff and the way they play. I would like to build a competitive list, and would appreciate any advice

For Farsight Enclaves you need at least one unit of 3 crisis suits last time I checked.
I would combine the 3 Monats with Burst Cannons into a unit and instead equip them with either 1 Pulse Rifle & 1 Cyclic ion blaster or 2 Missile Pods. Burst Cannons just don't operate as well as these other weapons.

Also, I don't think Riptides can get the Neuroweb System Jammer. Try putting Stim Injectors and EWOs on all of them.

5x 4 Drones seems excessive. I prefer the 4x 4 Drone Networks myself. Then again I did see a list with 4x 5 Drones which I believe may be a better formation of 20 for the same points you have spent.
