Subject: Death Guard Novels?

Been on a Death Guard vibe since the sneak peek and given that advice is to wait until that sweet, slimy chaos goodness hits, are there any novels featuring legio XIV? I've got Flight of the Eisenstein, but are there any others in both 40k and 30k?
Cheers

The Death Guard don't get much.
40k:
Mortarion's Heart
30k:
Daemonology
Mortarion also plays a small part in Thousand Sons and Scars (both are worth reading on their own) and Promethean Sun.
N.B. this is by no means a comprehensive list.

Dang. Was hoping they'd have had some coverage over the course of time. Please tell me the 40k one isn't the grey knight fan-spank with Draigo
What occurs in Scars and Promethean Sun? I've read both novels of Prospero, but Morty and his legion aren't much in either.

Yes, that's the Draigo one.
Scars is mostly about the White Scars but the Death Guard show up as antagonists at the end. It's pretty good.
Promethean Sun is all about Vulkan and the Salamanders fighting Exodites and the Death Guard are just kind of there to help out.

I'll give scars a look in but will vehemently pass on the GK one. They'd be cool if not for their new lore.
Thanks!

I know that some Death Guards and Typhys feature as antagonists in Cadian Blood, you get a few pages from Typhus perspective (the scene where he wakes in his ship is pretty cool, imo), but otherwise its not much, unfortunately for DG fans, tho keep in mind the book is an IG one, so it may not be to your liking.

You should actually listen to Mortarion's Heart. It really portrayed Mortarion well, and it didn't make Draigo look like the ridiculous character that Matt Ward wrote. He's written more like the archer that found the opening in Smaug's armor... with the exception that he was given Morty's true name. That's probably an important detail. The Grey Knights know Mortarion's true name... But only the "Supreme Grand Master" and one other can know it. I wonder if Games Workshop is even going to remember that detail if Mortarion gets his own Wrath of Magnus-esque supplement.
But yeah, it's a good audiobook that's essentially an hour an hour and 15 minutes of the Grey Knights trying to stop Mortarion... sure, Kaldor won at the end, but Mortarion was winning up until that point, and that's what makes the audiobook good for me.
