So I want to stock up on painting supplies, but none of the gaming stores in my area support miniature gaming at all, and the one store that does is inconveniently very far away, expensive, and constantly out of stock, so getting paints from there is a huge hassle. I've looked online but most of the places I can find selling paint overcharge on cost and shipping. Is there any online storefront that sells hobby paint at reasonable prices? I'm not picky about brand and don't care about shipping time, as long as the cost is reasonable.

I've had good experiences ordering from http://www.thewarstore.com/ and http://www.micromark.com/ (the latter of which is where i also get most of my tools and such.)

Also! Mircomark, I've noticed, has just started carrying Mission Models paints which are some of the best that I've used.

Do you have a Hobby Lobby in your area? They sell a limited selection of Vallejo Model Color paints along with brushes, etc.

I ordered the Badger, 12 bottle Miniataire kit and the Badger, 12 bottle Ghost tint kits online. Great paints, solid price and killer service.
Color selection is a bit limited but with a little mixing nearly every hue imaginable is possible. Great pigment density, shoot or brush they'll impress.
The ghost tints probably aren't mandatory but they add a lot of options.

http://www.reapermini.com/ spend $35 - free shipping (US) plus they have build your own sets and some great paints
amazon sometimes - keep an eye out for sales and if you have prime, it's even better
http://www.warcolours.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=59 - cheap paints, I like their metallics, and most of their one coats (I find the black is glossy though, ymmv) shipping is not bad, especially from Poland
rosemary&co - I found their brushes are great and shipping is not bad at all
secret weapon minis - I like their weathering powders, though they have expanded and also they have a lot of basing supplies
http://www.waylandgames.co.uk/138-paints-modelling - even though it's shipping from UK, it can be worth it, depending what you're looking for
http://www.miniaturemarket.com/ - they have a reward points program and often put stuff on clearance that can make it worthwhile throwing in a few paints to go with as well
basing type materials, I'll also check out scenic express

Anyway hope that helps some

Online retailers like TheWarStore and DiceHead sell Vallejo paints for $2.30-2.60 each, which is a great deal until you factor in shipping.

If you have Amazon Prime, my advice is to go on Amazon and check out paint sets. For example, the Vallejo Game Color Intro Set is currently $39.05 with free Prime shipping. That comes out to $2.44 per color including shipping which is basically unbeatable in terms of value. Buying individual colors will be much more expensive.
