I finally got my sister to sit down and play a game of 40k with me. She chose Harlequins as her army and I read through the stats online then told her the basic rules. The game went pretty much how you would expect. It was her army against my Dark Eldar army. It was just a troupe against my 1 unit of Kabalite Warriors. I felt like I wasn't teaching her the right way though, so I was hoping to get some suggestions here.

Start with one model each on an empty table.
Then, try two models each.
Add different weapons and more models, each.
Add terrain.
Add scenarios.
Take your time.
Be nice.
