I'm not looking to make changes to the list. Period. That being said your opinion/thoughts on the list are needed as follows.

- Which army of the imperium do you play? or would play vs this list.
- Would you defeat this list on pure brute strength? mission objectives? both?
- Can you win with your most standard list against this? Would you need to tweak your list in order to counter mine?
- What would you find most challenging to deal with in this list, what are you most concerned about?
- Which Imperium list build or units would be of major concern against this list? (i.e. War Convocation, Grav Centurions, etc)
- If you had to list the "Cons" in my list what would they be? (i.e. No Anti-Air, No Anti-Armor, Lack of Mobility, etc etc)

1850 Pts - Codex: Eldar Craftworlds Roster - Eldar - BattleForged

Formation: Wraith Host (21#, 1455 pts)
1 Wraith Host, 1455 pts
1 Spiritseer
5 Wraithguard (D-Scythe)
1 Wave Serpent (TL Scatter Lasers; Shuriken Cannon)

5 Wraithguard
1 Wave Serpent (TL Scatter Lasers; Shuriken Cannon)

5 Wraithguard
1 Wave Serpent (TL Scatter Lasers; Shuriken Cannon)

1 Wraithlord (Ghostglaive; Scatter Laser x2)

1 Wraithknight (Ghostglaive; Scattershield; Scatter Laser x2)

Formation:
1 Lord of the Undying Host (IA), 395 pts
1 Eldar Wraithseer (IA) (D-cannon)
5 Wraithblades (Ghostaxe; Forceshield)

Total Roster Cost: 1850

Gameplan:

Wraithblades get joined by Wraithseer and Spiritseer for a little wraith deathstar action. With the wraithseer's deliverance keeping FNP on them at all times and the spiritseer hopefully getting some good defensive powers things look well. The unit gets re-rolls to hit and other buffs that make it a viable assault unit.

The rest of the army takes care of business from a distance with scatter lasers everywhere and ultimately getting close to slap everyone with the mighty D that's rampant throughout the list.

Unless an FAQ changed the rules, once you have the Wraithseer in a unit, no other IC can be in same unit. I ran a Wraithseer quite a bit and had him buried in a block of Guardians. I like the Wraithblades, but they are a priority target.

Grav unit dropping would be to either get ridone of Wraithseer and unit or Wraith knight. I play Ravenguard and pull this off that ignores cover and is overkill on a Wraith knight. 9 wounds in your Wraithseer and unit is not terribly difficult.

The rest really comes down to the mission. You have no cheap units that are mobile for objectives, but you do have resilience and it does not bleed KP.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

As i just found out the FAQ forbade monstrous creatures IC from joiing ANY units. So both yourself and I would be wrong to attach him to anything. The Wraithseer must run solo. It makes no sense since his formation clearly has the intent of him joining the wraithblades (the special rule in the formation strongly hints at that) but GW FAQ has been pulling certain shenanigans lately so what can ya do.

As for the rest of what you menitoned I have a player that uses the pinion formation for that ignores cover grav nonsense and yes it is extremely powerful. However I believe due to it's lack of mobility of the big guns that I can simply shoot down the devastators from 36" range out with all the scatter lasers in my list.

Because I often face the pinion I planned for that scenario already i think it's a sound strategy let me know if you think this wouldnt work.

I stay out of your grav cannon 36" range during deployment. Due to battle focus I can move up with every unit that has scatter lasers and toss a LOT of strength 6 at those devastators until they die and the coast is clear. If this takes 2 turns of shooting to accomplish i'd be surpried and due to battle focus I can shoot then run outside of your threat range. If they die I can shoot and then run to start getting closer to objectives and your other units.

Eventually after such a big threat is dealt with I can just flat out the wave serpents to objectives or near another high priority target. The serpent would take quite a beating before going down and the occupants will surely make you pay for it after. At least thats the plan.

WG and W-serpents are too slow. Move 6" (Well, 5.9999 inches) turn around and move that infinitesimal last amount, then the WG disembark 6", for an okay 24" threat range.

The W-blades are in worse shape, foot slogging, even with the W-seer's FNP.

I have found decent success in either pairing shooty WG with deep striking archons (or Corsairs from Doom of M) or with the Ynnari archons being in the same CAD.

Too many imperial armies have melta armed dorks in drop pods for Serpent to deliver passengers anyhow.

W-blades will need to embark on a raider, ride out a turn of that ride surviving, etc. Not recommend, imho.
