Subject: Dilemma in my Retro Army

Insect-Infested Nurgle Chaos Lord

So I got a little buy-happy and ended up purchasing more units than an old FoC could hold for one of my retro armies.
Specifically I ended up buying three Furioso Dreadnoughts and 2 Terminator squads, as well as 2 Terminator Librarians, 2 Chaplains (one in terminator armor and one in normal armor) and a Sanguinary Priest. Since I'm going by retro rules, three Furiosos would take up three elite slots, leaving no space for the Terminators, and obviously I have 5 HQs now.
My counterpart Black Legion army currently sits at 2 Dreadnoughts (old rules, so they're Heavy Support), a Chaos Predator, Two Terminator Squads, 2 CSM squads (10-man each), 5 Raptors, a Sorceror and a Terminator Lord. They also get an assist from a smaller Death Guard army made up of 20 Plague Marines and a Chaos Lord also in terminator armor. I was thinking maybe I should take the terminators and make a Dark Angels Deathwing army as an assist for the Blood Angels, but would losing the terminators make the Blood Angels dropping far below strength compared to black legion? My BAs currently stands at (including the above) 1 normal Dreadnought, 1 normal predator (not baal) 20 marines and 3 bikers and obviously some death company marines (undetermined strength, since old BA rules means they are randomly generated).
Basically I'm wondering if I should keep my retro armies to a single army (but unusable all at once), or split it up to different but usable pieces instead. For all you nostalgia collectors, what are your thoughts?

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

I’m a big fan of swapping stuff around to keep things fresh. I could never just play the same army over and over. Every game is a different list.
So paint them all to be part of the same force, and change things in/out depending on your mood.

Extras mean you can switch up tactics, change things out, experiment and throw in new ideas.
Far more fun than same list every time.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.
FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all. |

Hnnnnnnng I probably should listen to you guys. Last time I decided to start splitting up my stuff into appropriate armies I ended up with no less than five 500 point armies rather than one coherent one.
