So I was thumbing through the 3rd edition Blood Angels codex and noticed that the Sanguinary High Priest has access to the Space Marine Armoury (he also has access to the BA Armoury too but that's beside the point). Since back then the Terminator Armor was listed as an option here, does that mean it's possible to field a Sanguinary High Priest in Terminator Armour in this edition? The only restriction I can see in the 3rd edition Space Marine Codex (the one with the Crimson Fist on the cover) is that only Independent characters can take Terminator Armour and the Sanguinary High Priest has that rule. Is there something I'm missing?

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

You can, but there are going to be issues.

As stated in both the basic codex and the BA supplement, characters in TDA can only take items marked with a “*”. So you will not be able to take a Narthecium or Reductor. However, the Grail from the BA codex does have the *, so you could take that. So while he can have the TDA, it will exclude him from most of the tools of his trade.

Woops. Did not see that one. I guess the limitation won't be there if i take the Artificer Armor instead?

You should be OK there. Although as I look at the books a second time, I just noticed that the BA book specifically forbids access to the Narthecium.

They got the Exanguinator in their own armoury, but it falls to the same restrictions as the narthecarium.
