Okay, so I've got my box of Neophyte Hybrids and their shiny mining weapons, I have the free download with all their pretty rules (well maybe not ALL because I still have yet to see the rules for shotguns and power mauls) so my question is:

If I were to kit them out, what weapons should I give them that would give me access to some of their unique weaponry while still being a viable force for use in the small skirmish games?

There are two ways of playing GSC in SW:A as far as I can see.

The first is heavy on the firepower, with Heavy Stubbers suppressing as many hostiles as possible while your Autoguns chip away where possible. This one likes to play carefully and to stay out of reach as much as possible. The bigger mining weapons look tempting, but they are so pricey and still come on a very weak body.

The second is a very in-your-face list with loads of flamer specialists. Very all-or-nothing, but hilarious. Try not to go too overboard on the melee gear though; you've got human stats, not SM stats.

If you ever played Necromunda, GSC are basically Delauqe.

What I would consider the best build for GSC, is 1/2 Heavy Stubber.. then the Rest with Autopistols

just horde up and move and hide, then bulk charge when you get the chance
