It's April, which means it's time for another Easter sale!

As we recently announced, we are cutting back on our presales during our sales events, which means that the Easter sale will no longer have early release models. Additionally, as ever, we do not offer discounts to our products during sales: our sales are a chance to get some special edition items directly from Wyrd.

This year is a great sale, offering up a brand new special edition model. Check out all the sales items below, and then press on to find out some other good news at the bottom of this newsletter.

We are excited to add these models to the store, and we will add more in the future.

You can always gain Guilders by attending any Henchman led event. Everyone should gain a Guilder for participating, with the possibility of earning even more!

We are excited to announce that we have a new job opening in the Game Design department! This position will help the Wyrd team create new content for its games, as well as interacting with the community, attending conventions, and more.

In addition to all the news above, we have also put in an order for errata'd special edition cards. This means that, in the future, Vintage and Special Edition cards will contain the January 2017 errata.

Last, but not least, Customeeple has put out a number of April releases for Malifaux. You can check out the announcement on Facebook here, complete with a lot of images. There are some great options for players looking for terrain, markers, and more.

I'd love to pick up a bunch of these sculpts, but man, the prices. I understand that they're limited, but still.

It's not like they're any cheaper on eBay either. I don't see all the alternate sculpts though (like Santana Ortega).

Oh well. I've been wanting the alt Barbaros for a long time now, so I will finally bite the bullet and order him. Hopefully they'll have Parker Barrows box in the store in time for the sale.

Aww, they don't have the alt Nicodem or Bishop for some reason. It would be great if they did a clear/dayglo "through the breach" Hannah, given how better it is than the standard one...

Can't say I'm surprised they aren't available. They could at least offer them up for a ridiculous price.

Starting to feel pangs of regret for not picking up the Nightmare Relic Hunters as well...

You did, but then again, you could only get Dr. Dufresne or Barbaros by spending over $300 in the 2015 Black Friday and they're for sale too. With Wyrd stopping their pre-sales (and from my understanding, the threshold spending at their store), I'd hoped they would just release everything. Maybe they'll be available for individual purchase at Gen Con. $300 was always an absurd spend requirement at once, at full retail...

Not all alts are available at all sales. Basically they pick a bunch of alts and coloured plastic sets for a sale, and get a large limited run done of each. What sells out sells out, what doesn't is kept for another sale, offered in promotions, or put into tournament prize packs.

Bishop and Nicodem were $300 incentives at the most recent past sale, so they were very unlikely to show up. The Performer, alternate Gremlin and Francisco which are in this sale, were incentives from about 2 years ago. The alternate Bayou Gator has only ever, prior to this, been offered as a promotion for buying $60us worth of stuff from your FLGS.

Nicodem and Bishop will show up in a sale eventually. Nightmare Relic Hunters were from the sale previous to the one that offered Bishop and Nicodem, so again, unlikely to show up so quickly. But it will, maybe another year down the track.

Personally, I'll be grabbing alternate Titania (I like that sculpt much more than the one in the box), Johanna and the Nightmare Coryphee. I only bought one when it was first available and have been kicking myself as I didn't want to magnetize it. It's finally available again.
