So I'm still looking at all kinds of armies for what I want to get into for my first army this month I'm into mechanicus because they also look cool
so I was looking at the War Convocation and Aquisitorius Convocation and because I'm new to all this I want to know which is A) easier to buy the basics for and B) which is a stronger formation if I'm aiming for 1500 points?
I also don't really like the look of the standard knights but the Knight Atrapos is cool but seems rather expensive, especially if I want to use Belisarius

War Convocation for both. Conclave Acquisitorious is... questionable, especially at low points values.

War Convocation. There's no comparing the two. It's perhaps the most egregious offender when it comes to "free points" formations.

As the others have stated, War Convo, its fluffy, fun and competitive.
Careful though with only a couple months before 8th edition hits, formations and current rulesets could take a huge change or even abandonment. Though I personally doubt 8th is going to be as big as a change as others and even GW are hinting at.

I am going to wait till 8th drops to figure out what direction I'm taking for 40k
