I am working on building a competitive 2k Mix Tzeentch list for an upcoming ITC tourney. Here is my list:

So my idea is to utilize the Arcane sacrifice in order to start sniping from the very start with bolt of tzeentch, Gaunt summoner taking the place of the LOC with its spell, Orgiod to be my warrior mage, and the Herald on disc to supply a cheap spell that could have some damage but mainly will use fold reality to support units. As far as deployment goes here is what i have:

Skyfires with Shamen
Tzaangors w/ Gaunt summoner & Ogroid
Pink Horrors w/ Herald and Vortex beast.

what do you think of the list and what changes should i do? Tourney is at the end of the month so all comments and criticism are welcomed.

If this is for a competitive list I would seriously consider making room for a Lord of Change. You will dominate the magic phase with one in your list.

Second list w/ LoC is similar to my Tzeentch list.

I think you want to either drop the Tzangors down to 10, one of the Skyfire's to 3, or kick out Ogroid for horror chaff screens and 100 summoning points for the Gaunt Summoner + Balewind Vortex.

The Tzangors are fun, ok in combat but not nearly as killy as thy look. Their footprint is also so huge its hard to get lots of them in combat.

I would also make LoC the general, or Ogroid and give him phantasmal weapons.

Inspiring presence on the Tzangors or skyfires makes a big difference.

You might need that spell on Gaunt Summoner where he can dump wounds to nearby allies. Then you can guarantee he will survive a turn vs Kunnin Rukk or horde spam and start bombing them.

Dont underestimate the power of 10-20 Blue Horrors and 10-20 Brrimstone horrors.

Especially if you dont need the balewind that game. You can just keep splitting and make your opponent's killy combat characters get tied up for like 3 turns. Mean while you are casting spells and skyfire shooting.

Also the ability to summon 10 tanky plaguebearers, or 5 FAAAAST seekers of slaanesh is not to be overlooked.

I agree with DoggieDoo. I see you do not have any blue horrors. That means you are missing a step from pink to brimstone. Granted you need to hold the points in reserve if you want to split pinks into blues, but if you have them on the board and stick them near a pink unit. When a pink dies you can split into that blue unit to raise them back to max unit size. Also you can do the same going from blue to brimstone. If you are doing it that way you do not need the points in reserve and you have a lot more shots on the board.

i really took what you said and really thought about it and here is what i came up with. I didnt make my LOC the general only because i feel that Arcane sacrifice is too good to pass up but i did give my LOC the crown of conquest to use that high LD. i have blue horrors on the list as reserves for when the pinkies die. Take a look and tell me what you think?
