Hey there!

I have a H&S Ultra Airbrush and noticed that sometimes bubbles appear at the front, where the tip connects to the body of the airbrush.
I made a test and put the tip underwater and let some air flow and noticed, that 1/3 - 1/2 of the air actually leaks at the sides. Screwing the tip tighter does not help.
This happens with both my needle sets (0.2 and 0.4)

Is my airbrush broken? What can I do to fix it? Or is this completely normal? Only bought it half a year ago, so I don't want to get a new one just yet...

Here is a .pdf of the manufacturer showing all the parts:

http://www.harder-airbrush.de/files/downloads/ersatzteile/Ersatzteile_Ultra.pdf

I am talking about the very end on the left.
There is indeed a ring and ( I am not sure though) it looks slightly damaged. there are some scratches from cleaning etc on It and I guess that helps the air escape.
Maybe the Glass cleaner I cleaned my airbrush with was a little too aggressive and I damaged those rings.

I could try getting new rings, since every part is available separately (one of the many reasons I decided for H&S ).

Will also try the beeswax tip. If I can find any beeswax ;-)

thats the part exactly.

on my pdf you see the ring a bit further to the right ("123180").
It does not attach to the air cap, but connects the nozzle to the body.

OK that sounds good.
I get bubbles sometimes, but that usually only happens when I clogged my airbrush anyways ;-)

Thanks for the help
