What will be in this handbook?

Will it be all the codex for every army?

Will there still be army codex?

Unfortunately yes.

Also I just made all this up; theres no proof yet we will get a generals handbook for 40k

We just don't know at this point.

We don't even know if there WILL be a book like that available for 40k.

They implied that the rules would be available in some form for everything from the get-go, but did not specify how [downloads/book/rulebook/codexes/etc.].

To be honest, I didn't read EVERY post of the 8th Edition rumor thread before it was taken down, so there may have been stronger implications from GW/stronger rumors from a trusted informant that they would be digital files.

In all seriousness, we don't know. Really. We have almost no info on what 8th edition will look like, let alone codex structure.
