Hey guys, so I figured I would try and blog regularly on my painting adventures. So here we go!

The first unit Ive completed for my new Blood Angels force is a Death Company squad from the Death Company Strike Force box. The models got my attention because they're so dynamic. It also helps that they tend to be absolute beasts in melee! I had fun with these guy's and I'm really looking forward to the next two squads.

Next up is a Sanguinary Priest. He was a reward to myself for completing the first Death Company squad. Even though he was a reward it was kind of a hassle. So many sub assemblies. Still, I think he was worth it, what do you guys think?

And lastly we have a small distraction. My friend gave me Eldrad Ulthran and I honestly cant pass up a free miniature. While I did finish him first I had started on my Blood Angels before hand, and I'm kind of glad I did. I used the GW gem paints for him and I don't much care for the end result, which is why I used normal paints for the gems on my other mini's. Once again, what do you guys think?

As for my next project, expect to see some Blood Angels tactical marines in the near future

Holy Terra.

I actually quite like eldrads gems. They don't distract from the model.

In my opinion, the Eldrad head gem need some dark outlining similar to the other gems.

Those are all fantastically painted models. I have to say that the Sanguinary Priest is my favorite, I love that scheme. All of the gems are especially great. What is your method for those?
