Take grotti instead of the grimoire on the GUO. Then buy him 2 greater rewards

Drop armour on the DPs as you will be jinking for a 2+ cover save.

for me jinking or not armor on DP is a must, i m not talking of specific match with DA but generally is better, if you face someone with lot of negate cover (Tau) you are cold dead without armor, my 2 cents, same in CaC.

Why take Grotti over the Grimoire ?

The ability with a GUO to extend the range of grotti simply because of the size if his base means that most times when attacking your infantry are rerolling 3+ to wound and against the bigger T6 models your GUO can 1 shot most of them when they get dropped to T5. It has no negative. with grimoire you have a 33% chance to drop to a 6++ while most of the time you will be hugging cover or getting models to be intervening meaning a permanent 3+ cover save.
