Hello,

So recently I was on the GW store, looking for things to add to my Dark Angels army, and I realized that some of the models were selling out really quickly, with that in mind, Lion is the only loyalist primarch that is still alive and is confirmed to be ready to return. So I put the pieces together, and thought that what if people are stockpiling dark angels because they're hoping that if and when the Lion is released, they will already have an army that they can use him with?

I hope not. If there's any spike, I expect it's people getting excited about Cypher getting some attention and wanting to play with a mini-faction, and either converting some Fallen or remembering they wanted to do something with DAs.

This is not a rumor, and not really a news either. Should go to GW general or something;

"Our fantasy settings are grim and dark, but that is not a reflection of who we are or how we feel the real world should be. [...] We will continue to diversify the cast of characters we portray [...] so everyone can find representation and heroes they can relate to. [...] If [you don't feel the same way], you will not be missed"

What models, in particular?

Some of the stuff has been "Direct Only" but without the tag for awhile...
The Dark Angels Company Veteran kit immediately springs to mind.

The better question: Why would it even matter if people were buying them in your local area because they think the Lion is coming out in the nearish future? People anticipating things doesn't mean it's going to happen. Look at the stock market and see how many people mess it up there.
