I'm liking it. It seems to be alluding to lots of good changes, like factions being more represented and lots of how to stuff.

Thoughts?

I don't want the best army, just one that isn't an exercise in picking up my models by turn 3.

It doesn't matter if you're not dominating the game; if you have 3-4 x as many models and options than the rest of us and you're still getting new kits, we're still gonna rip on the faction. If I had 100 + Drukhari kits all in plastic to choose from, or 100 + Sisters kits, I think I'd be more likely to be receptive to Space Marine player's complaints about anything.

I like it. It's put together well and has links to the GW/FW stores, a community page, and has a good bit of fluff on the timeline of the IoM.

I hope they bring back the faction-specific pages from the black gobbo era once 8th drops. I use to love browsing those pages for conversion articles, lore, art, webgames and interviews.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

That was one of the best parts of the old site. I still remember seeing that one guys Carcharodons force with tons of spattered blood and I was simply enthralled and mesmerized by the excellent army put together.

Technically there digital codex is still current....

Good to see them represented at the beginng though.

The Dark Angels, Space Wolves and Blood Angels still get their own faction as well despie their being many other as unique or even more so within the myriad Astartes and Guard

Just poking fun hear but does any one else think they need to do something with the image for the Adeptus Custodes. It really doesn't bother me but I kind of broke out laughting when I saw this gold plated power armored midgit rested firmly between the sisters. In order to fit his spear into frame they had to scale the image way down and now he looks like a dwarf compared to the others as you scroll through the line up.

To those that say there is no stupid questions I say, "Is this a stupid question?"

I've not been so happy in a long while to see so many pictures of Tyranid players throughout the site. I was expecting a ton of Space Marine pictures. We aren't hated so much after all.

"There is a cancer eating at the Imperium. With each decade it advances deeper, leaving drained, dead worlds in its wake. This horror, this abomination, has thought and purpose that functions on an unimaginable, galactic scale and all we can do is try to stop the swarms of bioengineered monsters it unleashes upon us by instinct. We have given the horror a name to salve our fears; we call it the Tyranid race, but if is aware of us at all it must know us only as Prey."

That is a hilariously good point, I went to the new website just to giggle at that a bit.

The space bugs aren't the only ones getting love. I'm getting to be sold on the "new GW" idea. Almost.

I find it amusing that both the Wolves and Dark Angels are shown with Jump Packs but the Blood Angels who supposedly specialise in Assault Marines just have a guy on foot.
Coincidence or trolling?

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.
