So, for an upcoming grudge match against a good friends Dark Angels army, i've decided to surprise him and bring along a few Fallen Angels to be used as Objective markers. I've taken the Dark Vengeance models, snipped and shaved their heads down, and replaced them with Chaos helmets and assorted bitz. Not too worried about the newer armor, as alot of the old Fallen models (including the old Cypher), still have aquillas anyway although one could just assume it is a variation of their chapter symbol. While not 100% accurate in the Armor mark, I at least want to get the paint scheme down...

Now with some of the newer pics from Gathering Storm it looks like they have red arrows, and white chapter symbols.

It would appear 30k Dark Angels, use a red chapter symbol, or red wings with a white/silver sword.

I also hear, that some of the Calibanite Legionaries paint their shoulders green, Were these the ones "loyal to Luther"? or were more Terran legionaries Fallen?

And what about the Arrows? Some art has them in white, and some have them in red. Is there any guidelines to their color scheme? Or much like everything, it all varied company to company, and noone really knows for sure what to make of any of it anymore...

Now, im aware that the unit would probably look best mixed and matched anyways, but i wanted to have some of the fallen look more chaotic/traitor, and some of them look loyal.

So any Dark Angels Veterans, please help out! Thanks! Your secret is safe with me!

Well by the original fluff it was red with the white symbol being adopted later, but GW being GW they seem to have opted for simplyfing things so the Fallen coloring sheets from Gathering Storm Part 3 are apparently all white swords with red wings, red swords with white wings, or white swords with white wings.

Does anyone know more about the Green shoulder marines from Caliban?

We're these ones loyal?

Which marines followed Luthor, Terran or Caliban?

IIRC they were mainly Calbanites but there were Terrans that followed him to, like Astelan.

Dark Angels - 8000
Blood Angels - 4000
Astra Militarum - 2000
