WE favoured are fun, but how do I stop the slaughtering of everything early game after going through a couple units?
Deployment help? Cover?
Demon prince?

Daemon Prince will need survivability, so no matter what you gotta choose Nurgle. After that however you manage to get Possessed around is up to you. Assault Claws would be the best for a T2 charge though as nobody is particularly caring about Fliers in 7th like they did in 6th.

You can only do so much with this without going all the way.

The obvious would be to give the prince the berzerkers glaive. For better or worse, no nurgle prince with WE.
Alternatively, try keeping it in the air with a brand, though it's not easy to stay close enough when doing that.
Wings and armour mandatory and don't make it your warlord.

Cover is a double edged sword, on the one hand it's cover, on the other it will probably ruin your initiative, to say nothing of your movement.
Try to stay out of LoS and out of difficult terrain if you can.
Without psykers or allies your options for managing their lack of grenades are pretty much non existent other than staying out of terrain.

Claws help with mobility but not with initiative, keeps em relatively safe too until turn 3.
A kharybdis claw or spartan allows you to overcome the grenades but it'll cost you, a lot.
Either way, stay away from TEQ and vehicles.
