I personally prefer smaller Crisis Teams whenever I have the Elite slots to take them. It means I can target more things and if one is killed there's fewer of them to run away if morale fails. Yes, it does give your opponent more potential victory points, but I find it to be more effective. I also think you could do with swapping some of the Plasma for Fusion guns. My two cents, anyway.

Other than that this looks like a solid all-round list that isn't as cheesy as Tau can be. Nice one.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

A balanced and fun looking list.
I would personally stay away from hammerheads because of the fact that you will be constantly jinking them because all your opponents will see is a giant gun.
I think you will definitely need markerlight support in some form (tetras, drone net, pathfinders); especialliy if you plan on keeping the hammerheads.
The missile pod drone on the fire warriors can be useful at times, but I tend not to take them.
Maybe look at command and control node / sensor suite on commander to boost damage potential of squads he is with.
2 * Ion blasters on the crisis suits is also another good option - effectively 2 autocannons per suit i. I also think you have too many suits for 1000pts. Maybe 2 squads of 2 or one larger squad of 4 (maybe mini "deathstar" w. shadowsun and some drones and MSSS, CCN, DC etc )?
