Anyone else been short on bases from the box? It comes with 10x models and only 9x bases, and one of those has some gouges in the base. Not trying to be nit picky but when you pay 50 USD for something, I expect it to have all the pieces. The models themselves seem to be all there though. Should I just call GW?

Call GW, or better yet bring it into a store.

They are generally good with faulty products and/or missing parts

Call GW. In the worst case, they will send you a base free. In the best case, maybe a full set of bases, or even a new box if you sound upset about that on the phone?

Also, in the future...don't buy that box. You can get those squads for $18-20 on eBay.

Only valid as long as people are parting out the boxes (and they stay in print). I grabbed three MkIII squads a month or two ago for $17.95 a squad...sold them off (and then ended up buying a damn Prospero box anyway!).

The HH separate boxes are borderline criminally priced (I believe this intentional as they're trying not to undermine the FW units/materials). The Contemptor dreadnought is an abysmal kit...again, I believe, not to steal sales from the FW resin line of Contemptors etc.

On eBay you can get a Contemptor for $24 instead of $60, etc. Heck you can get the full boxed games for $117 shipped from certain sites...that's a hell of a deal for all the models you get.

one shinning thing GW has always been good about is fixing kits that didn't come with everything. I ordered an exorcist from them and they sent me a normal Immolator kit. I called and they shipped me a new kit and told me to keep the first one.

Little bit of effort for a "discounted" Prospero Burns box set. I got two Prospero Burns box sets when they first came out and sold one off in parts mostly just shy of the current prices for the parts, sisters, custodes, wolves, sons - all totalled I effectively got one box set for thirty bucks.
