Subject: Guilliman: Miracles?

Ancient Chaos Terminator

Have been catching up on Fall of Cadia fluff.
During my reading, I found this:
" Guilliman displayed several "miracles" after his rebirth, his mere presence was able to cure any afflicted with a Nurgle-created blindness-inducing illness."
How? How could this happen? I generally like/accept fluff written, but this is just terrible in my opinion. Can someone enlighten me to how this is possible?

Because Nurgle WANTED it to happen, the illness came back after a time if Gulliman was removed. it forced Gulliman off the front lines into the hospitals for a period of time, which hurt the war effort.
it wasn't anything Gulliman did, it was nurgle being a troll

Yeah, Guilliman MAY have a placebo effect on morale, and some preachers might still say he has divine powers, but they're just propaganda campaigns.
Nurgle's illness was specifically made so that it left when Guilliman arrived, forcing him from the fight to guard the hospitals. A rather clever move, if I do say so myself.

no problem, I do reccomend when 8th hits keeping an eye for GS3 on ebay, if you can get a copy for a song off someone whose not a fluff monkey, you'll find that it's honestly a pretty fun read.

I liked this part, I wonder if Nurgle got the power to do this fed to him by all those pilgrims that used to visit Guilliman's 'tomb' / those awed by his presence after he was reanimated.
It would be suitably delicious for all that piety due to Guiliman was turned against him!

I like to think so. for people intreasted in fluff, edition changes are a GREAT thing, lots of people who couldn't care less about the fluff selling off their obselete rulebooks
That is a good idea
