Like a lot that we've had to go on with 8th, this is based off of a hint from the last teaser trailer.

So, in the match up between Numarines and Death Guard there is a really clear image of what looks like a Blight Drone.

Do people think this is going to be a new release with the DG or a straight insert of a FW unit straight into the main stream 40K?

Won't be the first time a FW model has been taken on by GW

Chaos undivided: 8300, Tau empire: 5600, Ork speed freaks: 1750

That wouldn't surprise me but it could be a good way for them to funnel FW items in without needing to refresh kits right up eg Contemptor weapon arms.

Didn't they already say that every unit would get new rules at release, including the FW ones?
It could mean that FW will release the rules for its minis, at the same time as GW, but not in the same publications. A bit like what happened with Death from the Skies.

'Straya... Mate.

I think FW will still be seperated if you look at the wording about the release. I would be happy if they were rolled in to one though.

I'd guess we can predict Imperial Armour vol.3 in the near future.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

If this were to happen, I could see that FW would take over the hole left by finecast and the loss of metal models. FW resin has stood up to the test of time as being of high quality (if brittle and prone to warping, but at least those are fixable or they replace it without hassle), at least being much better than the infamous finecast.

I would certainly welcome it if this were the case. FW being mail order is largely the reason why I rarely partake in them (I only buy FW models that my local FLGS gets in. And no I still don't know how he gets them or how he can afford to have a discount on them).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
