I'm looking to start an Inquisition Kill Team. I'm curious what people are using as models for the Acolytes, Initiates and Crusaders. I have some of the older 'Crusader' models and will likely use those.

What rosters are you using? I'm leaning on using:

1x Inquisitor [290]
- Power Sword
- Las Pistol

2x Crusader [370]
- Storm Shield
- Power Sword

4x Initiate [290]
- 2x Shotgun
- 2x Lasgun

This leaves me 50 points for additional equipment or to upgrade two of the Initiates to Acolytes.

I've been taking an Inquisitor with two Crusaders, dumping the carapace armour on all three and giving them storm shields and chainswords, and then running 3 Acolytes (4BS) all with storm bolters.

It works alright. Although I do worry about futher expansion later on, both in terms of depth of options and overall potency. With the exception of the Inquisitor and their two Crusaders, it looks like every other fighter is doomed to be a pretty boring (although somewhat scary, at least) stormbolter drone. They really don't have the statline or access to the equipment necessary to be a remotely credible melee threat (which makes absolutely no sense, being the freaking INQUISITION and all), and lacking access to the Shooting skill tree discourages any form of ranged development that doesn't go in the direction of disposable brute force.

The blog thediceabide.com has a great example of an Inquisitorial warband.
