So Im creating along side with few people a custom IG regiment called Argo Brigade. Here's the first model I did with their uniform colors. I know that mask looks quite slowed up close. Need to work on those. Even tjo Im quite pleased for colors and the base.

Also my very first 40K model Ive done.

Looks great, but that blue is so out of place. Perhaps if you went with a darker blue and highlighted with lighter blue? Also, the aquila on the helmet could possible be made a different color? Anyways, great mini, I love the base!

Thanks for the comment! Yea i noticed the aquila needs to be different color. The point of blue is to look like UN soldier, but I agree that it looks bit...off. i'll try for the next to make darker blue base and then the lighter blue.

If you want to stick to the blue, I'd say try using Coelia Greenshade over it, or Drakenhof Nightshade, to help darken it down a little and help tie it into the rest of the miniature.

Other than that, looking solid.

Yeah the helmets/masks definitely need some work (even just a standard strong tone wash). I think what would really help is to paint the facemask different than the helmet (they wouldn't be one piece in most cases). As it stands now it looks like you primed the models light blue and didn't finish painting them - it's a very jarring/odd break in the model's aesthetic.

Thanks for the advice! I'll try to give them a wash and see how they turn out. Im following this picture as my paintguide. https://1d4chan.org/wiki/File:Argos_Grenadier.jpg

Also got some bitz from Anvil Industry and Mega Bitz Shop to further pimp out my troops.

Small update. Ordered some flower flock from UK and tried it on two base. What do you guys think?

Also still need to add some more depth for those blue helmets.

Finally weather got good enough to go take pictures outside. Still need to fix some bits, like the white mess on radioman chest.
