Looking at the GSC Hybrid Metamorph's entry in the Shadow Wars PDF he has an autopistol, 2 rending claws and a talon

Does this guy have 3 arms or 4?
The models GW provides has 3 arms for those with pistols, yet only 1 rending claw and some other melee arm/weapon
The models with 4 arms are the ones with 4 melee weapons and no pistol.

Is the pistol hand just a regular hand or can be a claw as well?

They have the option to take 2 additional arms basically for free so why wouldn't you, then can swap those 2 arms for other stuff

I don't think anything in the genestealer family ever had more than 4 arms

Think it's meant to mean you can change the auto pistol and talon for reanding claws. But yes as it stands that's a lot of arms

technically with how the rules are written you can model an extra arm to your neophytes to give them a extra atk for 5pts (cost of a knife)
