Titans in the new rule ??? Will there be rules for your Warhound to Warlord in the new rules??? And if not why not?? Just because 30k keep the old rules of 7th do we Titan owners miss out on the start of 8th???

FW provides rules for all models usable in 40k in day 1 so yes. Those had rules for 40k, they will have rules in 8th.

Wonder if warlord breaks 3 digits in wound count!

There will be rules for the titans.

Of course, them being Forge World models, they might get their rules in a different format, from FW instead of GW. But Forge World models should get their rules as well. Here's to hoping glorious rules for Nurgle Drones.

I am more worried about the weapons than the HP on titans.....

We won't know if Titan weapons are stronger or weaker until we see the rules.

That's because, even if StD weapons are no longer an existing category, the stats given to a formerly StD weapon can be almost anything.

It would NOT be difficult to create a weapon using the no-stat-cap, damage-as-a-stat weapon profile of 8th edition that far, FAR exceeds the destructive capability of D weapons as they exist currently. It would be a BREEZE.

I suspect (though I can't be sure) some D weapons will get exactly that. I suspect (though I can't be sure) some D weapons will be reduced comparatively in destructive potential. I suspect (though I can't be sure) some D weapons will be almost completely analogous in effect once translated.

No one (who hasn't signed an NDA) knows. Unless they feature them in one of their daily releases, we won't know until 8th is released and the rules with it.

On moon miranda.

Titans are something of an odd spot for rules as core GW really did all their rules writing for them during 6th and 7th, barring the Warlord. It will be interesting to see who does them going forward.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

How will any templateweapons on superheavys work? Buckets of dice? Too weak to care at all? That are my worries about that. Megabolter will still pack a punch. But Quake cannon? Macrogattling? Plasmaweapons?

#makewraithseersgreatagain (not a titan but FW)

they said FW will get rules already so I am sure they will have them with their crazy good weapons and all that accompanies this. I imagine the emperor class titan will easily have 100 wounds assuming it gets rules (not made) warlord titan might even be close but expect the points to be crazy high like they are now(well reasonable for what you get, but still crazy high) and for that to be your army

I'm pretty sure for the extremely large templates it will be like everything else with a variation of s6 wounds. But with 2d6 or even 3d6

I'm thinking something along the lines of S20, Murderous Hit (or whatever it's called) and 10D6 wounds for the most basic titan weapons is not out of the question.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

We should point out that it doesn't make a whole lot of sense asking fellow forum-goes how the future rules for unreleased units will work.

No one knows. However, GW was pretty explicit in their few teasers that all units will play by the same rules. So, do some math in your head and you'll probably figure it out. Just expect crazy statlines and some crazy weapons.

If a Knight has 20+ wounds, expect a comical number of wounds for a Warlord (perhaps 60-80-100?). However, people have stated that weapons in AoS never do more than D6 wounds. I would imagine you'll see a difference with 40K in that regard. Seems fair that some Titan-sized weapons will inflict more than 6 possible wounds, etc.

Just exaggerate the stat-line you've seen leaked. And stop putting "????" after every sentence. One will do.
