Hey lads and ladies.

Been a while since I've played any warhammer or the like. Me and a few friends are looking to get into X-Wing, and I'm contemplating getting back into 40k and/or fantasy.
Looking for the following:

X-Wing:
We have no models and are looking to pick up at least a core set or two, but beside that are also keen on nearly anything rebels or empire wise (not super keen on scum).

40k:
I'm looking to get back into this as cheap as possible. My mistake the last few times I tried to get back in was always spending too much and getting burnt out, and I'm not doing that again. Don't have a massive preference for armies but my friend plays Tau so I want to avoid that.

Fantasy:
less keen to get into this but open to potential armies.

What I have:
cash. On a side note, I've got a lot of Magic the gathering stuff, so if anyone is looking to get into that or to get singles for their decks let me know and we can work something out.

Not extremely keen to do international but I won't completely rule it out.

I have a chaos army and a tau army. Are painted models a plus or a minus to you? What about conversions? My obliterators for example are converted. How big do you want the army to be? Any units in particular you're looking for?

Unpainted is preferred. Not looking to spend a ridiculous amount on an army yet, at least not till 8th is out.

What about conversions? I have 9 obliterators similar to this one. I would be wiling to sell you 9 of these, 3 rhinos, 20 chaos space marines and 10 zerkers for 120$ plus shipping.

The conversion seems great, but not a massive fan of jumping into chaos at the moment.
