Hello. I'm new to posting at this forum, although I've often consulted the archived threads for information and ideas.

After many years of not having time/opportunity to model, paint, or play, but still shopping, I am doing inventory: going through my GW collection, to figure out what I am missing for my armies and projects, and what I already have (some surprises - such as an 30 Bretonnian horses w/o riders, Gorgut the Orc Warlord, a several dozen terminator lightning claws). I am selling extra figures and bits.

I've also found quite a few things that I can't identify, even using the catalogs at http://www.solegends.com/citadel/catindex.htm. I am attaching pictures here of these mystery bits. Do you know what they are?

Top pic you've got a Black Orc boss head, some Amazon heads from either BB or Mordheim and a 40k Ork Warboss head.

Bottom pic some legs from something, The Ork Warboss's arm, missing the axe head, The =][= Kroot's arm, Various parts from the aforementioned Black Orc and Warboss, a Nob arm a Valhallan(?) gunner and a Kroot from =][=.

Wow! IGtR, Ruin, Desubot, jdevita, and 3orangewhips - thank you very much for your quick responses. Knowing about the Kroot helping me identify a bunch of other bits - turns out I have the Kroot merc, as well as the Kroot Booster Pack with alternative head and equipment.

You know how one shouldn't feed squirrels, because then they'll keep coming back? Well, I hope you'll forgive me for being a bit squirrely and posting another picture, with most of my other mystery bits. I've added a grid for reference. Some of these may not be GW/Citadel. They are all metal.

I'm happy to add close-up or alternate angle image s if that will help ID a piece - just tell me which one(s).

Some of the bits from my first post are here as well - that''s because even with the responses so far, I haven't been able to match it with a part in a GW catalog, or I still have a question about it. Specific questions are below, followed by the image.

1. Regarding the Amazon heads from my IP, Ruin suggested they might be "BB" - what does "BB" stand for?
2. B4 is a Black Orc Boss head - I'm trying to find a good picture of the rest of the figure (torso, arms, shield), and learn when it was made and how it was sold (1-figure blister? With BO musician and SB?).
3. E1 was IDed as a Squat gunner. However, the face look more Orky to me. To be sure, I'm hoping to match it with a catalog image - what catalog (or website with a Squat gallery) should I look at?

A1 = Khornegor Banner from the 6th edition Bestigor with the mark of Khorne.

B8 = Eldar Phoenix Lord hair. (can't remember which, and could be the Avatar instead)
C2 = Eldar Warpspinner-type thing, or Star Cannon.
E3 = Eldar Bright Lance.
E8 = Eldar Scatterlaser.

C2 is indeed a Starcannon
D4 appears to be a decorative bit for Eldar tanks. I'm not too versed in what the old models look like, but my best guess is it went on a turret for something similar to the current Falcon grav tank

BB stands for Blood Bowl. I'm pretty sure they used some common components between the BB and Mordheim models.
