I was watching a Beasts Of War video and they mentioned foam terrain (when he picked up a piece it flexed). I went to their site and tired to find videos only to be sadly prompted to create an account and buy a subscription... I told myself I'm not giving any brit any money since that tea tax debacle. I'll pay for it if I have to.

So my questions are:
How do you paint it? Soak it in a thinned paint and water or just spray paint it?

How do you make it rigid enough to not bend? I'm assuming with glue and paint.

How do they get the cracks in the top? Soldering Iron or hot wire tool...

I have a stack of this stuff that just wants to be a mountain!
