Brass scorpion is a good start but it is duller and less vibrant than the look of the blood disciple and I have no idea what I would do to it, I tried a shade of feugan orange but its still not the same.

You might try picking up Vallejo Model Colour Brass to give the Scorpion a brighter shade.

Normal Brass is actually quite yellowish, so you might want to use Seraphim Sepia to shade once you have it.

Skullcrusher Brass is a lot brighter, try that? It's pretty nice to paint with too. Flows a lot better than the Vallejo Brassy Brass, that is horrible to work with.
