This is my first non-infantry purchase from forge world and well.. long story short, thought i could handle it but i was a bit overzealous. Fuselages are warped but not to a degree that i'd feel comfortable asking for replacements (i'm generally rather reticent when it comes to dealing with companies). Is there any advice i could get about how i should go about preparing to handle a resin beast of this size?.

For a bit of clarification i've worked with smaller scale resin models before, so i know about the cleaning side of the prep, just no clue how i'm going to go about straightening the resin fuselages and the like. orz

FW is an extremely easy company to work with. I broke a piece on my Sicaran Battle Tank drilling it out for magnets. I emailed them explaining what I'd done and asked if they would sell me a new piece. They ended up sending it to me free of charge. I image if the pieces are warped that badly, they would replace those as well.

You can soften it by putting it in warm water and then bend it gently back into shape

While it is a Stormeagle build, the same principles apply, and I believe most of the Fireraptor is the same components anyway.

Hope that helps

Mine was warped so badly I named it the Storm Banana. repeated dunking in hoy water straightened out the side panels OK, and it all kind of locked into place when the roof and floor went on.

Good luck with it!
