Old kit bash i made for a GW event, about a year ago, finally decided to paint it up and get it ready to lead my horde of cultists.

Great conversion! Not sure what the idea is with that base, though. You could just take a pair of clippers to the sides of it so that it's just the panel he's standing on, and then glue that flatly to the larger base and cover it up with more texture paint. That's what I'd do.

About the base -Yes it look pitifull when the rest of the model look so cool.
If the height is needed for the tip of the whip, there is lots of ways(opportunities) to build up a scenic base.

I think it's a unique aesthetic, but that whip will be broken within a game or two. :(

EDIT: Unless it's not plastic, in which case, you may luck out.

It could use a little more pink but that's just me.

Maybe build up a texture on the areas of the base that aren't covered.

I will now address the main point, the base lol. I threw some color on there, and elevated the base for the whip, I have to paint up the hero base for him.
