Okay guys, this is gunna sound crazy but i just decided what the hell and bought a bunch of blood angels.

I got:

captain in termie armor
baal predator
furioso dread
2x tactical squad
death company assualt

What else would you guys suggest for a quick/fun army build?

(i have wanted a blood angels army for almost 20 years been out of the hobby a long time)

Assault squads, assault terminators, chaplain with jetpack, dreadnoughts.

while currently not a great unit I love the Sanguinary guard models. when I play blood angels I always bring 1 squad of them min (sometimes 3). who knows, next edition they might even be good.

Well i hope they are good in 8th then, they sucked in 6th and 7th.

If he bought them used he's part of why the numarines happened. And for all you know he could think the numarines are cool and want to throw some add-ons. Or he might not. Whatever.

Why don't you go back to talking about how underpowered riptide wing is or w/e you did before this?

Well since I last posted we've had the tau reveal and now I'm worried 8th will still be a snooty edition and melee armies will remain boned.

Was actually looking forward to trying 8th after sitting out 7th but now...

Get the new Primaris marines, they look amazing, have two wounds and minus one rend. Then wait for 8th when we get Primaris assault marines, gak will be ca$h.

Some rhino/razors for the tac squads. But with 8th right on the doorstep, I’d start painting what you have and see where the game is going

Oh I bought all the models new, I have wanted a blood angels army since 3rd edition.

I wanna make this army as fluff based as possible!

Suggestions?
