Working on making an all Grot Army.
I found on the app 3 Grot Warscrolls.
All 3 warscrolls says a unit has 10 or more but in the handbook units start at 20.

Gutbuster Grots seem to be the worst of the three, especially with no Grot Leaders in Gutbusters to enhance them.
Moonclan Grots seem to be the best. The get Netters and it says, A few instead can carry a vicious Barbed Net to ensnare their foes. Is a few 2 ? or 2 per 10 ?or 2 per 20 ?

Anyone who has played them in battle, which leaders work well with them ? Which abilities/spells are best for them ?

So the thing about Gutbuster grots is that they're meant to be part of Ogor Gutbuster armies. That being said a "Grot" Army can be a mix of any mess of anything with the "Grot" Keyword.

That being said, the Gitmob has access to Nasty Skulkers, which annoy people, and the Moonclan has access to Fanatics... which will kill people, probably your own men but hey that's why they're so cheap.

Between the two Gitmob has access to artillery and faster units, While Moonclan has units that deal a ton of damage usually while hurting your own.

There's also Spiderfang Grots, who are grots that ride giant spiders... and access to the magnificent Arachnarok Spider, which if you put a shaman on there is pretty scary.

Gutbuster Grots are for Ogors so don't worry about them.

If you want to add a more interesting theme consdering adding a giant or troggoths... as both factions are pretty dumb enough to be goaded into battle by grots... also they can feed them the ones that weren't cleaver enough to avoid the hungry big guys.

Insofar as how many is "a few" the unfortunate answer is that there is no answer. You can interpret the rather poor choice of word however you like. I've seen tournaments allow 100% of the unit to have nets. If you want a general for your army, I highly suggest Skarsnik. He's pretty intense.

I already have a Spiderfang Army, 3 Big Bosses on Gigantic Spiders, 5 Arachnaroks and 70+ Spider Riders for the Battalion

I wanted to build a fun massive army and with grots and at possible 100 for 20, in a 2500 pt army I can have 500 Grots with bows.

I like the scraplauncher figure and want to fit that in and possibly snotlings, i have the pump wagon and snotlings that I use to use for bloodbowl.

Not crazy about squigs, but might go with wolves.

I liked the Spiderfang army, not to many decisions either was my Flesh eater Courts. But Grots, so many decisions.

Gutbuster Grots have that ability if - 30 or more models (of course starting out at 60) has 3 attacks instead of 1. Possible 180 range 8 attacks at 4+ 6+. And any unit ends 3 inches after a charge move suffers d3 wounds.
Moonclan Grots get +2 to wound rolls if 30 or more. So 60 range 16 attacks at 5+ 3+.
Gitmob Grots gets +2 to hit rolls making them 3+ to hit if 30 or more. So possible 60 range 16 attacks at 3+ 5+

Gutbusters - The fact of rolling possibly 180 dice for each unit (possible 8 full units of 60, 1440 attacks) sounds like it might be fun for me, annoying for opponent. Need to look over heroes maybe i can get some rerolls
