Okay, i think i'm almost done working on my order. I might change a few things but i'm pretty satisfied with what i got. However, i still need a good name for the order, and i would like to hear your suggestions and ideas. Now i will write down what i have in mind for their backstory and culture, so you'll be able to think about it:

During late M38, the usual warp storm disappears, allowing to explore several systems lost since the dark age of technology. The first explorer are a group of missionaries assisted by the order of Our Martyred Lady, along with some magos from Mars. The most important planet they find is the world of Connacht. The planet is pretty similar to old Terra, but rich with archipelagos and with only one continent-size piece of land.
They are welcomed by an organization of knight-women who managed to mantain order on the planet since its isolation from mankind, happened during the dark age of technology. The order of women managed to do that thanks to the technology inside the "Golden Temple", a fortress that preserved inside itself several technologies from the dark age, which allowed to fabricate their armors, weapons and vehicles.
However, the imperial agents cannot access the Temple's technologies since, for reasons unknown to them, the Temple allow access only to the knights-women who inhabit it, and the said women firmly believe the Temple to be sacred and deny access to all they consider unworthy. Those who try to enter find themselves in a labyrinth of moving walls and can only exit the building. While the imperial agents could try to force their way into the Temple, the precious technologies inside it might be damaged, which is unacceptable for the magos. Since the expedition that discovered the world belonged to the ministorum, the ecclesiarchy declair the planet one of their shrine worlds and the planet is successfully converted to the imperial creed. Seeing an opportunity, the order of knight-women is integrated into the adepta sororitas as an order minoris, considered as derived from the order of Our Martyred Lady, since that's the order that found them. Integrated into the imperial structure, canoness superior Grand Mhaol the 1st finally allows a magos mechanicus and a ministorum priest to enter the Temple and examine its technology. The ecclesiarchy, however, eventually realizes that the order is secretly not showing them everything in the Temple but, since only the sisters of the order seems to be able to enter, they can't do anything about it yet.

The order have a hispanic/irish culture, with a slight spanish-corsair/pirate theme. They have strong faith in the God-Emperor but an organization and behavior different from the other orders militant, deriving from the original order of knight-women. The sisters of the order don't always pray in the conventional manner, they can consider everything they do as a prayer, as long as the act in question has somehow contributed to the betterment of the Imperium (freeing a planet from the enemy, exterminate a dangerous xeno species, evem just shooting a heretic is considered enough). Another common way to express gratitude to the Emperor is to celebrate a victory with sumptuous feasts, preceded by a ceremony to thank the Man-God.
Their centuries spent travelling through the archipelagos of Connacht and their experience in protecting the Golden Temple made the sisters of the order experts in both naval and siege warfare.
All these traits made the sisters of the order particularly appreciated as crewmates of rogue traders.

This should be everything you need to know to help think a name for the order. If you have questions please let me know and if you have suggestions abot the order i would be happy to hear them, although i feel pretty happy with what i got. Now let's hear your ideas, what do you think this order could be named?

"For the Emperor, for the Gallant Cove and for holy Connachta! Death to our enemies, sisters. Let none survive your righteous wrath!" Lumen Laus, missionary of the schola progenium of 'Our Mother Mhaol' on Connachta.

The Order of the Wild Rose? The Order of the Sacred Maze?

"Our fantasy settings are grim and dark, but that is not a reflection of who we are or how we feel the real world should be. [...] We will continue to diversify the cast of characters we portray [...] so everyone can find representation and heroes they can relate to. [...] If [you don't feel the same way], you will not be missed"

Order of the crimson shroud?

(GW have used a similar phrase, only it was for a tyranid beastie).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

So I clipped what I felt was of most importance(Good story though like it)

The Order of the Golden Wind
The Order of the Sea Maidens
The Order of the Holy Saber
Sisters of the Golden Tempest
Sisters of the Dawned Reliquary
Sisters of the Gallant Cove
Lady's of Mana Seas
Lady's of the Treasured Temple
Lady's of the Blessed Rapier
(Could use Damsel, Lass as well.)

Anyway just kind of rambling words you might want to mix match or just help you figure out what you like.

The Sisters of ST. PHILOMENA, because ST. Jude is probably too obvious.

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon.
