So once upon a time I took a Stormraven and beautifully mutilated it with battle damage... Ahhh what fun..

So my question is, have you done actual damage to your models and if so what did you do? Do you have pictures? And what factions do you find the most fun to give such character to?

I had accidentally mis-matched parts when putting the cockpit together. Pulling it apart resulted in damage, which looked remarkably like what I'd imagine a plasma strike doing to a thin hulled vehicle.

Haven't got a specific faction that I favorite for destruction/damage, but by far the easiest and most fun option that also gives the most options is to work with any type of armored vehicles.

The only things I have at this moment are some Astra Militarum sentinels that I happened to have lying around for the past 12-15 years.
Sabotage damage like a blown off leg was easy enough but a different one got some penetrating blast damage. I can get picks tonight possibly.

In addition I know I have a horribly color mutilated and crossfactioned (imperial and chaos cause the guy I bought it off didn't bother making it correct according to fluff...) landraider somewhere, and I know that one is a prime target for some battle damaged terrain.

Here's a WIP of my Genestealer Cult Goliath truck.

I literally just attacked it with a small wrench once I'd glued it together, then just sprayed over with basecoat, applied wash and then used silver and Nuln Oil to make them look like exposed metal.
