I found an old Alan Perry (?) sculpted giant head in my bits box a while ago and couldn't think of a suitable use for it, until this week when I also stumbled across a Perry sculpted Samurai casualty. The bells went off in my head, ding ding ding! Tsurube Otoshi!!
A disembodied giant head in Japanese folklore that waits in the top of pine trees for unsuspecting passers by, who it then drops onto, flattening them and sometimes eating them too (they also seem to flatten people just for fun)

Anyway, a bit of sculpting to fill out the neck area and a bit of paint later and I've hit a stumbling block- does he need eyebrows? I don't know. I've never painted brows on a model before, but I've also never painted a head big enough to allow me to.

What do you guys think? Should I add brows to this fugly chap?

Id err towards no, mostly because he looks a bit more creepy without... Just me though.

Looks like he needs something, though would tend towards subtle, maybe just a hint of a brownish or greyish colour.

Otherwise beautifully done

I think you're right, subtle eyebrows are the way to go otherwise they'll end up looking too fake and painted on.
