So, I have sort of a strange question... Without going too deep into my overall project since I don't have photos yet (eventually, eventually), I'm looking to put together a piece of city terrain that is a storefront full of power armor for sale, and I think it would be cool if they were in rigid, static poses.

I could just use the paint set space marines, but two problems present themselves, because it's a different setting (not 40k).

1. I attach my shoulder pads differently on my marines,
and
2. I don't use standard marine heads (In fact, the empty storefront armor would have no heads).

So I either need to dremel out the head socket and... shave down the whole upper arms... or repose standard space marine models to look more... erm... boring, or less dynamic. What would you recommend, Dakka?

EDIT: I'm looking around and they don't even sell the space marine paint set I was thinking of anymore... Narrows things down, I suppose.

Would biker legs (separated from the torso) look like they're hanging? I'd imagine the set for sale actually separated.

Look up truescale marines, that should help you out heaps.

Thanks for the replies everyone. A hanging set of armor from bike legs is a good idea, and I'm getting some good ideas from the truescale conversions I'm seeing (even though size isn't my issue). When I've got more stuff finished I'd like to get back into posting more regularly here than just the odd question thread.

I know the Devastators set has a bunch of empty hands in different poses, and you should be able to get a hold of straight arms for each side from several different kits such as the Sternguard Veterans. If you did it like that the only thing you'd have to convert would be to straighten the bent knees of the biker legs.
