Hi Guys/ladies just wanted to ask if anyone has any good techniques on making firing missiles? working on an imperial Guard Valkyrie and thought it would be awesome to have a few missiles streaking out of the missile pods.
Cheers

There are several companies who produce just what you're looking for. Mainly in resin (which is not the best for longevity unfortunately). I think Zealot Miniatures do a bunch of smoke and missile effects.
Alternately some brass rod or paper clip...put a missile on one end, drill/pin it into the model and then carefully surround the rod w/ green stuff or cotton.

I've found a good solution is to take a length of wire and pin it into the back of the missile. Then, cover the wire all round in a thick layer of PVA glue and dip into some really, really finely diced paper (I actually use modelling leaves like you'd use on bases for convenience). Glue that into the missile launcher, paint it in suitably fiery colours and bob's your uncle!
