I'm looking for a model to represent an Imperial Nobel for Warhammer 40k. There's lots of art from Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy, but very little in the way of models. Does anyone have an idea of a model that might work or one that could be converted to work? Thanks.

Master of the Fleet?

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!

I saw that one. It might be suitable with conversion. It's just not ostentatious enough on its own.

Any other suggestions? I am okay with going outside of the GW line.

If you can track him down, perhaps lord solar macharius?

Though the model is a bit old.

There's some possibly useful models from ANvil Industries you could look at, try this page:

There are also a ton of Rackham figs that would work. They're right size and have great detail too. If you can can find them of course, as Rackham has stopped production of their metal figs. EBay
could help, and some online retails have stocks, and the resin stuff is easier to find. Examples from the Legends of Signum range:

You get the idea.
