Is it still 25mm? I've been rebasing my marines in preparation for 8th, and decided to finish up some old half-painted Orks as well. I think they'd look better on 32mm bases, and I know that regardless of current "official" base sizes you can always choose to base them on what they came with, but I thought it worth checking.

For that matter, what about Nobz, or others like Flash Gitz? Mega Armour I assume is 40mm?

More of a question for P&M, but Boyz and normal Nobs are still on 25mm bases, MANZ should be 40mm, and Flash Gitz I'm less sure of, but from the SWA artwork they appear to be on 40mm as well.

Although it would be more than reasonable to put Nobs on 32mm bases that marines have been bumped up to. They'll feel a little bigger than Boyz as they're supposed to and won't spill over the edges of the base.

I've been putting all my Orks on 32's to remove the leg hangover, and they look so much better for it, but I haven't seen anything to show that they will actually be bumped up to 32's

Official base size is 25 for orks and boyz-size specialists like kommandos, tankbustas, etc... and also nobz, meks and painboys.

Meganobz, flash gitz, warbosses, weirdboyz and big meks have the 40mm.

There are no orks with 32mm bases.

Thanks, guys. Now that I know there's no rules-based reasons to redo them, I just need to decide if I should do it for aesthetic reasons...

I say absolutely - they look a million times better for it.

Perhaps try it with a spare Boy or Nob and see how it looks to you
