Considering picking up some Slaves to Darkness (love the models) and adding them to my Nurgle daemons to make a 1,000 point matched play army. There are a few modifications I'd like to make to the Slaves to Darkness (like sanding off the chaos symbol on the shields and putting a mark of Nurgle on instead), and I was wondering if one of them should be some kind of pustules. Not sure if human cultists (essentially what these models are) would have pustules or not.

Thanks in advance

I don't see why not! They're followers of papa nurgle and it's certainly possible he might have already given them a few gifts.

realism is a lie

Most definitly. Any follower of Nurgle would be given to pusstules. And replacing the chaos symbol with the mark of Nurgle is a good idea. Maybe don't completely sand it off, partially sand it off and keep it in the back ground. Can't wait to see pictures of the final results

Thanks! Good suggestions. And, I'm looking forward to it as well. But, it may be a while with 40K 8th Edition right around the corner (I play both)

Thanks

SG

Edit: And, yes... I cannot wait for the new Death Guard models!

I would consider it a sin if you don't have your nurgle dedicated troops with pustules and sores, as well as corroding armor that's leaking some dark fluid... Papa Nurgle loves his children and his gifts are shared by all his followers.
