Looking for ideas for my purifiers.

The way that my grey knights are painted they are darker than the GW version. I don't like the way the white helms look on them it's way too much of a contrast.

Looking for some alternative ways to make them stand out amongst my regular strikes so when playing my opponents will know who is who.

Was thinking maybe Gold helms but I figured I would see if anyone had an cool ideas. Doesnt have to be a helm idea as I am also thinking of just painting them gun metal.

I've seen some cool outcomes of people painting their strike squad guys with dark red helmets so you could try that, unfortunately there aren't any examples I could find online though.

You could use a different heraldic device on the pauldrons, paint their force weapons differently, in full charge for example. Different colour gauntlets like the Crimson Fists. If you've got any terminators, you could use the paladin heads.

I decided to go with only the crest of the helms painted in Ivory. Will also be going with Gold right shoulder with Ivory left shoulder.

If you can sculpt, maybe give them wreaths on their helmets and paint those gold. Alternatively; a mid grey instead of white. Not as much contrast then.

Grey or Red would be my vote; a nice red can work well splashed here and there in a GK force.
